5000 miles alone on an atv

Life is short so see as much as you can, do as many things as you can, achieve as many of your goals as you can and ride your ATV as much as you can afford to. This should be the way life is like for ATV enthusiasts! And one such man who embraces his love for ATV riding, exploring the world and appreciating life is Nathan Beck of Nevada . Nathan Beck achieved something extraordinary by traveling on his ATV for 5,000 miles all alone…well, unless his dog counts, that is. But what prompted this amazing journey was Beck's love for ATV riding, exploring the outback and making sure he did what he liked while he was still alive. And even more than that…like all of us…he enjoyed the overwhelming sense of freedom when one travels alone, whether it's on an ATV or otherwise.

Beck's journey to the other side of the mountain costs him 10 new ATV tires, approximately 400 gallons of gas, running the risk of losing his dog twice and being admitted into the hospital with hypothermia. Was it all worth it? Well, according to Nathan Beck, it was. During his ATV adventure, Nathan Beck kept a detailed journal of his adventure. We are inclined to think that his journal would be a great source of inspiration for his kids and grandchildren in the future!

Riding on ATV trails and secondary roads during such ATV adventurous feats can get a little tough; especially when one is faced with mechanical breakdown without parts…or running out of supply or gas. It takes grit, determination and emotional strength to keep one going. Hence, only the strong will survive such an ordeal. If you're ever to make such an awe-inspiring ATV trip, make sure you're ready to face the music. Nature can be a good friend when you're riding ATV but it can turn its back on you as well. It's up to you and ATV to pull it through.

Traveling long distances on an ATV can zap your energy, supply and mental strength, so, be prepared for what's ahead of you with adequate spare parts, gas, alertness before advancing on such a feat. Not everyone is Nathan Beck.

But if you ever plan to do what he did, just be ready for what's ahead. As impromptu as the ATV trip Beck embarked on, it must have taken him a long time to come up with enough financial backup, training and planning before he decided to do it.
