Swell ATV riding in San Rafael Swell

Spanning over 2,000 miles of scenic ATV trail, one of Utah 's best ATV riding spot is the San Rafael Swell which is a public land which provides loads of fun and adventure for holiday-goers and ATV enthusiasts! On top of the amazing trail, ATV fans can also have an eyeful of the astonishingly handsome scenery…there's nothing quite like the sandstone, canyons, and streams that decorates the landscape at San Rafael Swell. As beautiful as it is over there, it's easy to get lost too, so, before you hail your ATV over there, you are strongly encouraged to research on the place and get familiar with the names of the places. With ATV land this vast, getting lost is totally nothing new. In fact, what you can do is to find a map of the area that you're planning to ride your ATV on.

The only important note we have to make note of is that since San Rafael is public ATV that many ATV fans go to, there aren't that many markers around the trails. In fact, even if some of them are marked, they are hardly reliable because irresponsible people have gone ahead and vandalized the markers. Some of the markers have been removed and never replaced, so, get to know the place and bring along any device that you can think of (especially phone numbers and cell phone) that can help you get out when you're lost.

Although you won't need any special permit or license to ride your ATV in San Rafael , you'll need to know that the activities of ATV riders are closely monitored. However, it's very easy to relax and let nature take over because San Rafael is so raw and untouched. This is how nature is and is quite bare of human intervention. While riding your ATV, we think you'll be totally absorbed with the beauty of it all. Some of the places you have to visit there are Buckhorn Draw and Wedge Overlook.
