Tuscobia Trail in Northern Wisconsin

If you're in Northern Wisconson and you're an ATV enthusiasts, it's not possible for you to miss the chance to ride the Tuscobia State Trail. It is one of best ATV trails that we've recently discovered. The only problem or setback we experienced was when we couldn't find the trail's head. But aside from that, the track was totally worth anything that we had to endure or go through.

Before the ATV track was built, the Tuscobia piece of land was a railway and the activities that went on in the area during the 1900s to the 1940s were logging, farming and basic services. Even after the railway was taken apart, the initial plan was to use the land as a historical trail. And right now, it is the longest scenic trail in the US because the trail goes through Price, Sawyer, Washburn and Barron Counties . As of today, the Tuscobia trail is being used for camping, hiking, snowmobile and ATVs. In the future, cyclists and skiers will flock to the Tuscobia trail as well because builing facilities for them are in the pipeline.

If you've never tried out the ATV canoe carrier, this is the time to do it because there are many different waterways to allow you the chance to do that. There's the Chetac lake, of course, which takes up about 1,920 acres of the land. And then there's the Chippewa River and the very beautiful Flambeau River . If you get bored of ATV riding while on the trail, you can also opt for renting a kayak. Kayakers love these waterways because they have a few low rapids. And if you're also into the fishing thing, you can drag your fishing gear along with your ATV too.

So, you see, the Tuscobia Trail is really something. It's truly somewhere you can take the whole family to (with friends along for the ride too) during the school holidays. There's always more than one thing to keep your kids occupied while you tackle the ATV trails. The Tuscobia Trail is already one of favorite ATV riding spots.
